I had trouble with something similar to that in high school.  Sure, I dressed and acted differently from most everyone in the mainstream, but in all my "individuality," I was no different from any of my friends who were doing the exact same thing.  It used to bug me, but it doesn't really anymore.  Individuality doesn't just sprout out of nothing - it has to have roots or influences somewhere - be it in friends, old fashion trends, music genres...

That being said, most everything about the mall irritates the wee out of me.</description>
