In addition to the "bitchin' beer selection," the little market also has a really good butcher shop -- great for cookouts on the lake.

But, the proposed quarry and asphalt plant are quite far enough from Norris to have any impact whatsoever on the quaint little village; an identical facility in Oak Ridge (owned by the same company) is nestled between two of the City's highest-dollar neighborhoods, and no one can hear it, smell it, feel it, or anything. The only remaining issue with merit is the trucks, which would remain over by the interstate along with the semis that are already there.

Norris is a great place to visit... but Oak Ridge is home.
