This week will be strange
Both kids will be at the farm
So we’ll be alone

That strange solitude
Has always been rare for us
Feeling bittersweet

Not sure what to cook
Or what we can talk about
Is it work, home, sleep?

Its immensely sad
That when faced with a week off
I start to freeze up

Anyway, more stuff
To haiku about this week
