Now, I'll imagine little cartoon monkeys building parking lots, bathroom stalls and other stupidly designed places. "Looks like the monkeys built this."

Maybe we can talk Fresh Market into buying one of those soon to be empty grocery store buildings. Oak Ridge needs a quality grocery store instead these over grown convience stores.

Love the monkey cartoon.
Disappointing to hear that the East and West Food City stores are closing. Seems a bit silly to me - they're making their customer base drive farther for a lesser store with a really crappy parking lot?
And yes, a Fresh Market or Earth Fare would be fantastic in Oak Ridge.

I would totally not mind an Earth Fare, Fresh Market, or some other hippie-infested organic-obsessed place. They always have the best beer.

ZOMGZ.... $31 for a bag of organically grown, non-genetically altered cheetos, while the sweet sweet scents of patchouli and body odor waft by on the gentle summer breeze. The mere notion of it is making me weak-kneed.

7th comment FTW!~~

Ah yes, the hippy conundrum...
I find that riffraff tend to repel hippys, so I like to put on my torn Milk and Cheese t-shirt before heading in there. The organic stuff, well, if its worth it, then its worth it. My entire thinking is the typically bitchin beer selection. I mean, if they opened an Earthfare Beer store, dude, that'd be what its all about.
Earthfares the only place to get stuff like Left Hand beers. Kroger did start selling Rogue beers, which is great, but they do it for 10.50 a six pack, which is robbery.
I'm a beer snob, yes.
