Sunday Haiku 10 (LPSH edition)

July 30th, 2006 by Atomictumor

Can’t find a picture
Of my pink squeaky hammer
I like to carry

I keep it with me
My lil’ pink squeaky hammer
In my back pocket

People like to laugh
Because it has a squeaker
And because it’s pink

It can bring me down
When my hammer gets laughed at
It just isn’t fair

I had a real one
A nice shiny steel hammer
It was also pink.

GAC said no
“You’ll put your eye out”, she said,
gave it to the poor.

Poor don’t need hammers
They need pizza and iPods,
National health care

Right, but anyway
Damn, I lost my train of thought
What was this about?

Ten weeks we’ve done this?
Butchering Japanese art
On some dumb web site?

Oh yeah, the hammer
Little pink squeaky hammer
I love you so much.

    Pink, or Red Squeeky,
    both kinds are admissable
    for all assmonkeys.

    Atomictumor,
    your toy, pinky, squeeky
    hammer squeeks loudly.

    Pink, squeeky hammer–
    memory of another
    the kids used to have.

  2. mrs. eaves Says:

    The man of the house
    His staff: pink squeeky hammer
    But what does GAC have?

    If wars could be fought
    With just pink squeeky hammers
    No blood would be shed

  3. NODBOB Says:

    Headaches we’d face then,
Not the ice cream ones eithier,
    This is the real deal

    Ice cream headaches, myth.
    Just Mayfield running our minds
    Sneaky Yumminess

I totally screwed up my haiku. Spent too much time on it to do over so here goes…

AT gloats he’s quite a man
    Keeps his hammer down
    At least that’s his pretension

    When his woman gets cheeky
    Look out girl it comes
She gets the back of his hand

When things are out of control
    She puts him in line
    GAC wakes ole boy up

When he is at his bravest
    The wife breaks it out
    This weapon that wreaks havoc

AT ducks when she swings it
    He can’t stand the thought
    This little weapon of pain

    His terror overcomes him
    Brands fear in his heart
    Cruel pink squeaky toy hammer

    Squeaky toy hammer
    Audible pink (or red) tool
