Beauchamp, cleared??

Beauchamp is not cleared, reports the Oakridger. Evidently his lawyer, Mike Ritter, spoke to soon. The TBI’s spokesperson is quoted as saying, “The TBI doesn’t, quote, clear people,”

Even Anderson County District Attorney General Jim Ramsey agreed with TBI. “We’re not in the business of clearing people,” he said.

Too bad for Beauchamp.

    I’ve heard from a couple of people (who would know) that the statute of limitations isn’t up yet, either. A new DA could be really bad news for the boy, if he or she chose to close this case once and for all by taking it to the Grand Jury.
