I’ve always loved the Peanuts, especially the holiday TV episodes. So, I was happily surprised when I ran across this collection at the library the other day. There’s something fantastically sharper about those early Peanuts cartoons, than what I grew up with.
Here’s one I’d love to have printed onto a t-shirt.

Maybe it’s that Charlie Brown reminds me of Pac-Man.

None of the Peanuts cartoon characters can clasp their hands over their heads. I suppose that’s another thing that makes them so endearing.

I like the graphic boldness of the panel you put up there, Bos. It’s more aesthetically pleasing to me than the later ones.
Did you see the Antiques Roadshow that had the Peanuts cells on it?
