Well folks, the Tumor is about to be a year old, and in celebration of it I’m going to be rambling on about on around the 14th, and we’re going to have a party on the 17th. Its in Oak Ridge, and you’re all invited, so slap it down on the calendar now, because I’ll be offended if you don’t.
Chuck me an email at partydood (at) atomictumor.com for the details, and to let us know how many hot dogs and burgers to get.
We ask that you bring your own beer/booze, if you enjoy drinking it. This will not be a get blind drunk kind of affair, as we’ll have the kids running around, but beer is always a nice thing, and I’ll be damned if I’m buying it for everybody. If you’re into covered dishes or whatever, rock that on too.
Also, if you’re not a meatitarian, then you should probably make some sort of arrangement. We’ll have buns, and dressings, but a meal that doth not make. You’ll need to get some hippyburgers, or some such. I’ll be glad to cook it, tho.

Jonathan, there are (by my count) going to be at least 9 or so kids there, ranging in age from 2-10. More are always welcome.
And we need to get confirmation from Lissa, but we’d very much like to have a certain 16 year old at the party, too…

Sorry, I just meant I should get involved more … post more … get invited, all of that good stuff. Didn’t mean to be so vague, it was yet another attempt by me at humor, something I fail at most of the time. Besides, I am the shy type — thus I was joking around. I tend to agree with you Joel, just reading some of his work, I get that impression. I know the party will be fun, but me and my famous nanner pudding will sit it out … that shyness gets the best of me, despite having a strong desire to get to know more people in the Ridge area (I have just been here a couple of years and all.)
Plus my wife bugs me all the time about meeting new friends … guess the sports world I surround her in, doesn’t excite her very much.

I just remembered, I have a blogiversary too. The first post on my site is dated Sept 7, 2002. Way back when, I was messing around with the whole web site thing in general, I think there were posts before that too, but they were deleted. Anyway, barring forgetfulness or personal crisis, I should be there.
