" . . . acting to their former principals. . . "

Well, the *principals* of ORHS didn't approve of pot, either.

On the other hand, I'll stick to my *principles* and support the total legalization of dope. Of course, I'd like to see it taxed the way alcohol and cigarettes are.

At least you spelled "hippie" correctly.

You and your fricking semantics. You'd think you were an english teacher! Why can't you be half illiterate, like most people?

Edit - Thanks, fixed it.

Now, with regard to legalization of weed, yes, I'd get behind it. Its come so close in the past (Carter looked juuuuust about to do it, before his cabinet got caught with white noses), and Oregon actually did decriminalize it.

Its hard to look at the war on pot as anything that makes the least amount of sense.

However, you pontificate too much on it, and you become dismissed as a pothead. Like Carl Sagan. Frigin hippy.

Do we have to follow the letter of the existing tax laws when it does become legal? I find the classification of the whole bud, stem, and seed thing, a little complicated in the code. I have in-laws in California with medical prescriptions, but no way am I leaving Tennessee. It should be like oranges, sensimelia, indica, sativa, yada yada yada.

Keep it up Joel, keeps people on their toes.
