Hope you guys aren't mad at me for letting the cats wreck the place while you were gone. They looked like they were having so much fun...I just hated to be a buzz kill.

BTW, those three felines shit more than any three bovines I've ever seen.

Specifically, I've been catching up with this Marvel "Civil War" nonsense. Its almost like a train wreck, but I can't look away.
I got tired of comics in my youth in the early 90s, because the trend was toward super awesome big muscled/boobied drawing in the Lee/Liefield style, but the writing (again, in the Lee/Liefield style) was atrocious. Its gone around now to more subdued artwork, more panels and and emphasis on storytelling, which is refreshing for the genre.
Spiderman totally whipped up on Captain America.

I haven't read Civil War but am eager to do so. And oh yeah Lee/Liefield writing was soooooo bad. I've been reading the Joss Whedon X-Men books which are very good, both in art and writing - and recently went back to read old Nick Fury and SHEILD stuff from the late 60s. Trippy weird stuff.

Spidey rules.

How many episodes did you watch of the british office before watching the american offtake? BBC America showed a marathon some time ago of the complete series, we recorded most of it and watched it when we had time. The more you watch, the better it gets. Having watched that version then watching the American one, it was the same thing. You have to stick with it to get into it's grove. I like both about the same, maybe the American one more only because they have new episode and the BBC America I get doesn't seem to show it anymore.

The Orig. Brit version of Coupling was pretty good.

"I watched the leaves not change color."

I live next to one of the largest leaf peeper hotspots in Massachusetts, the French King Bridge. The locals pretty much have to change travel routes during this time of year so the tourists can park and walk along a usually crowded and dangerous highway to see some damned leaves.

My father is from Arkansas originally and came up here to live after the service in his mid-twenties. When he came up here he was a leaf-peeper type but after a few seasons snapped out of it because after they're all pretty they need to be raked up. He also never saw or had to drive is snow before.

Sound like you had fun, and that you spent the weekend appreciating all the things that really matter. Congratulations on reaching the point that many people never do!

Man, trying to drink a beer with AT that isn't made with the finest hops, brewed in a solid gold tank, diamonds sprinkled on by fairies in the full moon's light, and then personally blessed by the Pope himself, is like....well it's hard...

I'd just like to point out that Dustifer got just as drunk... well, quite a bit more drunk... on "Budwater" than you did on your diamond sprinkled beer.
