My wife, son and I had a HORRIBLE 24hr bug last weekend. It was horrible for me because I'm such a baby. It was horrible for her because she's carring my baby. My son... eh, he got to watch TV and be pampered. He might be been milking it.

We saw you this morning on the way to school. I made the comment to the kids that you looked reallllly tired. They attributed that to GAC being sick. Hope she's feeling better. Perhaps you can avoid it. Oddly enough, when we got home from trick-or-treating last night, it was discovered that Spotz had a 102 fever. When he woke up this morning, it was gone.

We enjoyed trick-or-treating, despite the lack of welcoming homes. I have to say, they got better candy this year. There were more candy bars and less tootsie rolls and dum-dums. I can handle that.

I didn't think it was about how you hold a pencil so much as how you use it... right?

Aren't those days the best and worse? Great feeling of getting things done while leaving things undone and simultaneously feeling accomplished, energized and exhausted.

I hope GAC gets well soon.

Yeah hope you both get to feeling better. I hate being sick but the only good thing is I'm such a grouch when sich that everyone leaves me alone.

You can imagine that the Blueberry Farm doesn't exactly bode for very successful trick-or-treating, but there's this HUGE neighborhood down the highway a little ways that is pretty cool. I think people come from all over the county to prey on this mid-upper class neighborhood - it's like ET with the kids in costumes everywhere. We scored a completely full plastic pumkin, with a pretty good variety of candy/chocolate. All in all, I had some very happy kids last night. I think they're still happy.

Next year, bring 'em by my house. I was all set for the 150 trick or treaters we used to get, but saw only about 20 this year... so there are a lot of Reese's, Twix, and other good stuff left over that I really don't need to eat.
