Cats checking out

Saturday, November 4th, 2006

Hey, falling into the “worrying about more than one thing at the time” category, we’ve agreed (reluctantly on some parts) to find another home for the cats.

When GAC comes home I don’t want any distractions, scratching at odd hours, smells, dander, hair, or messes.

I’d prefer to put them in a home today, but I’ll settle for a pound.  I don’t have a lot of time to do it.

If anybody wants to help out by adopting these things, we’d appreciate it.  If you have a zoo (Netmom, I’m looking at you), don’t put yourself out or strain yourself.

Circle of cat life, man.

I love you, GAC.

Still there

She’s still alive.

She still has septis.  She still has a massive wound and a Mr. Potato Head stomach, that didn’t do her any good, and that I signed off on.

She’s producing 100 ccs of urine an hour (she’ll be pleased to know the internets are aware of her pee-pee), which is a good thing.  She has a fever of 105, which is a bad thing.

Her pulse is still high, her BP is ranging between 70-90, and the thing right now is just keeping her alive.

I love you, GAC.

Dreams

Saturday, November 4th, 2006

I keep dreaming that GAC’s hand, or lower jaw, or something else is missing.  Or, whats worse, I keep waking up thinking this is a dream, and then I realize that its not GAC in bed with me, but MastaG.

Then I remember.

Just called, vitals are the same, blood pressure is low.  She’s woken up a few times, confused, and tried to pull tubes out. They sedated her again, but evidently she was able to follow commands, which I guess is more than she can do when she’s healthy.

She’s also produced some urine, which is something we’ve been needing her to do.

I’m shivering.  Going back to bed.

I love you GAC.
