You don't have to do anything to be worthy of my support.
I'm honored just to witness such acts of love.

“Everything is going to be OK” is what I told Bos as we left. He was wanting to stick around and talk, but I felt like getting home and relaxing.

You're too perceptive for your own good, AT.

GAC did look wonderful tonight. What a blessing.

AT, I haven't said a whole lot on these posts. I'm never quite sure what to say. But I do want you to know how much I think of you and BJ all the time. Checking the post at the vet school every chance I get . Today was so nice - the posts so nice. I've done a little dance :) It occured to me today,BJ is going to be so baffled at all the posts here, all the attention (WBIR, wow). She is such an awesome person. Oh, I had this memory the other day that made me laugh out loud - "My name is Alan Vandergriff. . .god didn't build no dam, he could walk on water." I look forward to having a laugh about that with BJ soon. Sleep well tonight. Tell BJ we love her. And keep writing!!!

I've been thinking about your family all day long. Tonight, JungleJim, MexiChlo, Noleander and me, we all feel more solid to me, more present here in our home. I can't wait for the day when I read that she's home, giggling at you (with love, naturally!) about all your worry.

This evening's news is nice. (Before these last 2 weeks, who would think that a loved one feeling pain would be considered joyous news?!?!?)

Sleep well tonight.

I'm glad for every bit of good news. I'll drink a toast to blisters that look healthy underneath, and pain responses, and to the day she punches somebody sticking her with something.

Tell your mother hello for me, and kiss the boys. Tell BJ I'm rooting for her, she is tough.

Tell your mom she can give me a call if she wants, I'm mostly working from home. So can you, if you want to, but you have enough to do. I don't have your phone number.

That's fabulous that they are taking care of her feminine side now. A nice bath and a style is always refreshing! Awesome! You KNOW she feels better from that! I'm glad for her, and you too, AT.

If you're thinking of DRUNK REDNECK personified, we're thinking the same Alan Vandergriff. He helped himself to our house one night, crazy drunk, back when we lived in the projects.
