That is so wonderful for you. I am crying. Your love for her is palpable. Congrats on the kiss.
Prayers and love from the other here to yours.

You don't know me, but I'm back again tonight after reading everything last night. Hang in there. Califdudes is right, your love is palpable, but I'd have to say that "palpable" is the understatement of the decade. Take care. (i) Jules

Aw, I was thinking about you guys today (even though I don't know you - hope it doesn't sound weird but your story has really moved me!) Glad you got to kiss her :)

Yeah me too. I read this site as soon as a new post comes up, every day. It's amazing that I want so much for someone I don't even know to just wake up, open her eyes and know that someone else I don't even know loves her so much. Not a believer myself, in god, in praying, in anything like that. Astronomical odds strike me as bad. But I still want very much for there to be a chance.

AT: Late morning here in Germany. Still middle of the night for you. Thoughts and prayers are with you, the kids and BJ, even as you sleep. Glad to hear that the surgeries went well.

Give me a kiss, and to that kiss a score;
Then to that twenty, add a hundred more:
A thousand to that hundred: so kiss on,
To make that thousand up a million.
Treble that million, and when that is done,
Let's kiss afresh, as when we first begun.
-Robert Herrick

He said it better than I could: here's to many more kisses for the two of you!

There is nothing as sweet as kissing your love. I am happy for you that you can do it again. My thoughts are with you and yours again today, I check this board often throughout the day :)

Hang in there, AT. You've already discovered one positive about having that trache. It's a good thing for her and you will get used to it. I know it's a shock at first but doesn't interfere with anything that is beautiful about GAC. Suction machines are fun. You'll soon know what I mean. We're still praying.

Dude, Bennie, you'd be amazed, but nothing's shocking at this point. Its what I was saying in the comments somewhere about being a robot, at this point. I'll be shocked when this is all over.

The IV port is a very, very good idea for someone in need of frequent IVs. I'm glad that GAC is strong enough to handle it now.
