The fireplace backdraft
isn’t what I wanted tonight
smokey living room
Tall clouds like mountains
play tricks on my eyes tonight.
Thanksgiving drive home.
Early Thanksgiving,
tired of baked sweet potatos.
Can’t eat anymore.
Autumn leaves tumble
like school kids across the road.
They are quickly gone.

What a strange season.
Our sweet friend has passed away
Still does not seem real
What a pretty girl
She was smart as a whip too
Such a young talent
The love that you shared
Has been an inspiration
What an example
I can tell you now
That I will hold them closer
My own family
We’ll miss you BJ
We will think of you often
We’ll see you later

Your children know this:
If they’re lost, you will find them.
We find each other.
Your children know this:
If they fall, you will catch them.
We catch each other.

Words like autumn leaves,
color the pages of this blog.
Her memory afire.

So many good friends
This whole thing still isn’t real
In an empty house
Words are failing me
Mind will disassociate
Friday is years old
And this too shall pass
I started griving back then
No need for mantras
Kids are doing fine
Having fun down at the farm
Escaping a while
And I say let em
Thats how BJ would have it
My sweet GAC

Gliding on the breeze
Her spirit soars among us
Greiving will bring peace.
AT and the Boys
have their memories to hold
We all pray for them.
Lessons I have learned
Oft bring me comfort and Joy
This one brings me tears.
AT has taught grace
in the face of loss so deep.
Thank you for sharing.

Cyber words written
Within without with all love
Connect the circle

Cut down in her prime
Reason fails, what else is left?
Memory is all

I knew her ten years
But never really knew her
Like she was my own
A sister I mourn
From the center of my soul
A sister I miss
But I know she’s there
She is waiting to meet us
My heart praises God
She has no more pain
Though we will still cry for her
Now she can smile
November 19th, 2006 at 8:55 pm
Many hearts broken
She will be missed so dearly
Way too young to go
Awesome chick she was
Great mother of two children
I respect her so

We have never met
But tears fall around the world
For AT’s true love

Today a white fog:
more beauty in not seeing
all those sharp edges.
