Sometimes I write personal things, sometimes it's all about how much I love Alias and peppermint patties. All of it serves the purpose of keeping me from exploding. Point is, whatever works for you is what you should do, even if you have nothing to say, you'll feel just a little better for saying it. PS That picture is pretty scary. And awesome.
