You are lucky that you have the children to bring you joy and sorrow. If something happened to my dear, dear husband, I would be alone in the world. I can't bear even thinking of it. This last year I watched my MIL and BIL die of cancer. I think of their spouses and what has gotten them through all of this and it has been the love of their children. It is how we have all dealt with it. Family. Gotta love em even though sometimes you want to slap em. You are absolutely amazing, AT. I couldn't do Christmas last year at all. It just came and went and I did nothing. No MIL to celebrate with. I had totaled my car in an accident. I didn't want to shop, decorate or cook. We got through Christmas but I don't know how.
