But I was concerned with the theological foundation for Jesus' swing. I mean, there is long hiatus between the birth and the time he shows up in the temple. He could have spent some time swinging. His dad could have built one of those safety swings, with the little bar that comes down in front so Jesus didn't fall off. We did.
