So, I brought MastaG’s suitcase over, which he really wanted because it was chock full of toys. I mean, he had clothes too, but that wasn’t the issue. I strangled him a little bit, talked with BJ’s folks for a spell, and headed off to have a night to myself.
Thats a woot, folks.
So, I say “Hmm, AT, lets mosey by the record store and see what they have.”
“OK. But you just bought a lot of records.”
“What are we talking about?”
“Right.”
So to the record store we went (I went, me and my, uh, imagination), and found a couplea White Stripes records, Elephant and De Stijl. Now, both of these guys I’ve been itching to have on vinyl for some time now. Never mind the fact that the records are attractively colored white and red, they’re damn good analog kinda records, and good assed music.
I head over to the checkout to buy em, and…
No wallet.
Because the damn thing was sitting on the bed from when I took out the insurance card to make the appointment (that I finally made after talking to like 5 different people).
Sigh.
So, I moseyed back home, and here I am. Got the wallet, but the records are way and hell back in Knoxville. I drove the Volvo, and listened to Rubber Factory by The Black Keys whilst on the road, and it was a damn enjoyable experience, but not one that I think I’m ready to duplicate.
But darnitall, that record would sound good in my record player…
Hmm…
