Ahh, 2006
There were a lot of good times
Might outweigh the bad
The bad comes to mind
Guess thats just the way it is
When you lose a friend
Not counting that, tho
It was an amazing year
At Casa Tuma
Course, we blogged it all
(I still hate that freakin word)
All of our events
When we got the cats
(and blissfully, when they left)
were good memories
The ‘Tumor’s birthday
was an excellent party
BJ did the sticks
Now as an aside
BJ was the stick master
Did all sorts of tricks
In the video
She was using a set that
weighed lots more than hers
Had to point that out
Its a great big digression
Sorry about that
At the Cemesto’s
Theres a bun in the oven
“Lou Gossett, Jr.”
My sister, Jenwright
Is also knocked up, babies
all over the place
Works for me, because
While I like babies, I like
It when they’re not mine
For me, the best part
was the wedding renewal.
I’m glad we did that.

A watershed year
The whole thing was about change
Expected and not.
Wife finishing school
I was going back to school
We were growing up
The site got bigger
People in town were reading
The dumb things we said
But then BJ died
On November Seventeenth
of 2006
—
All things considered
This year will go down as one
of my best 10 years.

Garish and tasteless
