Snowing

January 9th, 2007 by Atomictumor

Well, in a big surprise for those of us that don’t pay a lick of attention to the weather, its totally snowing. And I mean, throwing down, snowing. Let me show you a graphical representation of today, vs yesterday.

The snowflakes are as big as Volkswagens, and have to weigh something like 3 or 4 kilograms.  Being an American, and educated in the public school system of Chattanooga, TN to boot, I only have a vague idea what a kilogram (or kilogramme, depending on how far you want to take this thing) weighs, but I assume it weighs something between 2 stones, and a breadbox.

This just in: It stopped snowing.

Never mind.

    One kilogram equals 2.2 pounds

At 2 to 4 kilograms, they are not snow flakes AT. You may want to seek shelter and tune in your radio to the Emergency Broadcast Sytem. They may be doing something funny over there “behind the fence”. Or, maybe not.

    Single-flake snowballs are the BEST.

I got some crappy cell phone pics of the Great East Tennessee Blizzard of 2007

It’s almost all melted away now … pretty while it lasted though.

and I was hoping that a meeting I’m supposed to go to would be called off on account of this “blizzard…”

    No such luck. Yet.

It snowed in K-town too. It as different from sunny or just cloudy. Things the size of manhole covers were falling from the sky. It is like clifford the dog got a hold of a clifford size matress and took care of it.

I was going to move to England just because my weight sounded so much better in stones (between 1-6). Good luck with the car.

    You’re a helluba weatherman AT.

I like the smiling AT. The fingers that are so narrow and yet hands that look like circles. It is like you are running demonishly toward the hot sun to embrace it. Like the beginging to Little House with Laura romping through the prarie. It is as if you found Jesus or something. I love it.
