Cheerios

January 12th, 2007 by The Bosphorus

Looked like labor was cranking up last night about 11:30. The Missus had a series of regular contractions for just short of an hour. They were coming every ten minutes. We got up. The Missus started to pack her stuff (Yeah, that crucial hospital over-night bag wasn’t ready till last night.). I packed up my clothes. Two of this, two of that. Then I went to charge the gadget batteries and eat a bowl of Cheerios.

The contractions didn’t so much slack off when the Missus started moving around, but they lost their regularity. She told me this morning that they kept coming all night. So I’m headed off to work right now, but sticking close to the phone. (I was doing that yesterday…)

I’m going to go to Kroger in a little while for a quick shopping trip…perhaps I can shock some employees by having my water break in aisle 7. :)

I’m excited for you guys. Bos, I know you’ve got family near by, but if you need an extra pair of hands with anything, except birthin’ a baby, give me a shout.

    Good luck you guys.

Well, the trip to Kroger was painfully uneventful. I’ve not given up on something happening tonight or tomorrow - but things have definitely slacked off since last night!
    Sigh….the waiting game…
I wonder how Meice and his wife are doing?
