Haiku

January 14th, 2007 by Atomictumor

Breakfast is cooking
Day old pizza and water
Belly is grumbling

We will meet Leo
A trip to the hospital
Going in those doors

BJ could’t wait
We weren’t having any more
But she loved babies

She’d be thrilled today
No bad hospital feelings
No fear of those doors

She’d hold a baby
And she’d never guess or know
How empty I am

    Thrilled to meet Leo
the mrs. and I will go
    I just love that smell

  2. MSueS Says:

    Parallel visions
    Of the scene you expected
    and Reality

  3. Atomictumor Says:

    Ahh, hospital rules
G, Pigpen and I showed up
    But no kids allowed

    Germs, evidently
    Kids are lethal to babies
    We showed up, went home

    Hospital building
Is just that, just a building
    No sense in stress, right?

    Was wondering if
this day would be hard for you.
    My thoughts are with you.

    Honey, every day
Over the past week or so
    Has been hard for me

    I feel lots of joy,
    tho, over Leo’s safe birth
    Trying not to dwell

    Oh, slickdeals dot net
    Just bought 500 gig drive
    For a pittance, man

    And a 1 gig card
    For mastaG’s camera
    15 dollars cash

    I love buying stuff
    And then writing incomplete
