Well folks, today is the most depressing day of the year.
According to scientists who undoubtedly get paid more than you and I to determine these things, January 22nd has a combination of bad weather, Christmas debt, and broken New Years resolutions to combine in to a destructive force of depressive badness.
Kinda like Voltron, but without the lions, or skinny blonde chick.
So, in honor of blue monday, I’m going to cheer you all up.

This is too funny. I have every reason to be depressed today, so it’s nice to know I won’t be the only one (though I hope I am the only one who had a car totaled by a drunk driver, spent most of Saturday night being treated in the emergency room, had a child in the emergency room all day yesterday with an infected foot, has another child at the dentist right now getting a chipped tooth repaired, and additionally has many,many unpaid bills . . .).

Today sucks, despite AT’s best efforts. My JRA is acting up, it’s cold, and walking on uneven packed snow with sore legs hurts double. At least tonight is Dr. Who and Battlestar Galactica night.

On the contrary. Today is a great day. I officially began working toward changing directions in my career and my sweet bride and I are celebrating 9 great years together.

I heard a radio interview about this very subject today, and I wanted to bring to everyone’s attention the fact that June 22nd is slated as the happiest day of the year. Please note that my baby is due June 21st. Weird coincidence…?

As a non medical professional I am very worried about the person in the pic for a number of reason. The red eyes, post mortom skin tone, the strangely geneticaly altered limbs — something is amiss.
