Dammit. I wanted a Blackjack (the Cingular version) myself. Could afford the phone, couldn’t afford the increase in service charges. Ended up with an HTC 3125. Nice enough, but no QWERTY.
The great thing here is that my service charges are down by 50%, simply because I’m getting rid of BJ’s line.
The phone has wi-fi, so I don’t have to add data to the package, saving me a bundle.
Yeah - I mourn the lack of Wi-Fi, but decided that most of the time I need to access email I am in the middle of a field in BFE TN (or GA, or AR). No nice WiFi around. So I needed the data package. And Smartphone is cheaper than whatever the heck they use for the other PDA phones (why, I have no idea, I didn’t make the rules).
