That was exactly the first thing I said out loud this morning, as I wandered through the kitchen in search of coffee, and noticed that the ground outside matches the linoleum in the kitchen.
I’d heard rumblings from folks that it might be snowing today, but like every time people rumble about snow, I assume that Al Gore will stop it with his global warming. Theres what, 1 inch? 2 maybe?
Guess what… schools closed!
Lucky little bastards…

Your schools are closed for only an inch or 2 of snow? Wow. If that was the case here in Central Illinois, the kids would never be in school. I woke up to about 3 inches of the white stuff this morning too. I hate SNOW! Illinois winters suck.

Roads look clear here in O.R. Surprised city schools are closed.

You have snow? I hate you.
It’s 32 degrees here and we have rain. I would at least like to look at it for a few minutes before it melts into the concrete.

Bunch of weak-in-the-knees southerners. Up here we get an inch or two a day, and the cold and windchill will freeze your face off. Cross-country skis or snowshoes are advised for travelling on sidewalks, and snowmobiles have replaced scooters, but the buses run and the schools remain open.
