Isn't it amazing... the terror that runs up and down your spine when the paci is lost?

If it is not a paci it is something else like a routine. W does not like when her bedtime routine is interrupted or changed. It is the same every night. Every Hour or so???!! I am not a gal but didn't that like --- hurt? I am convinced that if a new born is given half a chance that they could affix themselves to a window with pure sucking power. W tried to latch on to me and it was no manner of comfort associated with it when it happened!! We close on the house friday morning. Everything is a go. I hope that James is humbly looking at the floor for taking the sacred paci. I sure that when he found out that he had it waves of terror when over him.

Oh Mrs. Eaves thanks so much for the RSV info. It truly is a public service announcement. My bestie's son is 5 weeks old and has been to the doc twice in the past 7 days for cold-like symptoms. He was placed on antibiotics & nebulizer (asthma machine) treatments a few days ago, even though the doc conceded that this treatment is very rare & reserved for only the worst case infants.
Literally, while I was reading the post Bestie called to ask my opinion as he's not getting better and she notices his softspot appears very sunk in. Don't know if it's true or not, but I was always told that was a sign of dehydration. I asked her if he'd been checked for RSV, she said no-thought only preemies got it (not true) so I read to her straight from the link. She's immediately calling the on-call doc and will be referencing this info w/her other questions.

Thanks again. I don't even have babies anymore and the info came in handy.

You're just saying that 'cause you're drunk, AT.

VA Bluebelle - I'm really glad that the link was useful. I'm really surprised that the doc didn't test for RSV - especially since it was necessary to have the nebulizer treatments. I hope that the little guy gets better very quickly!

Timsan1 - Bos brought me home a king-size KitKat. All is good.

Mrs. Eaves, I didn't want to pass judgment on her doctor but I was surprised too. All of her kids (baby makes 5) have asthma and the nebulizer has been parked on their kitchen table for years so maybe he just assumed?
