When I fired up my PowerBook G4 Sunday AM, the correct time appeared in the upper right-hand corner of my screen. I didn't have to do anything.

Well, evidently, Joel, you're the only person in the friggin world who isn't going to be making me fix their problem today.
Kudos, sir.

Could be worse ... you could be trapped at a desk next to a chick with a tongue ring that makes her sound drunk when she talks, who plays Enya alternating with death metal all day.

At least the view is nice ... if I turn my back on her and look out the window.

I just don't like it when gals with tongue rings "play" with it -- making clicking noises and such. And when I see a guy with one it kind of makes me want to wretch in the nearest basket. Is it a gender thing? I doing know but it just gives willies. Right now there are a group of rednecks standing outside the house around a rusted out Cadillac bobbing their heads to the new subwoofer they just install which is probably worth more than the 20 year old POS it is in. IT is funning to watch them. I almost want to grab my camera and take a picture -- it is the head bobbing. It almost looks forced -- it has no -- eh -- jive to it. People make me laugh.

Hmmm. None of the computers here had any problem with the "spring forward" thing (no Macs either).

The humans, on the other hand, were in complete disarray. One of us still is.

bring pigpen over here one day while G is at intersession - then you will have a whole day to yourself ... working, still, but ... well, it will keep rhino occupied and out of my hair for a day ;) ... rhino is the opposite extreme as pigpen - not self-sufficient at all.
