So, heading down to The Compound for a day or two of family time, and good ol’ Nodbob is set to make an appearance. He and I talked last night,and we’re thinking about going to a movie.
Now, opening today, is the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters (and I can’t believe I just wrote that whole thing out), which, being that I’ve been a fan of the show since its first episode ways back in the early oughts, might just entertain me. That, and its only like 76 minutes long, which is good for a short attention span.
Problem is, the last season or two of ATHF really has been kinda dumb. Sure, they’ve been doing the movie for a while, and maybe they saved up all teh funnay for the movie, but I’m not so sure.
Now, something else that I’ve been a longtime fan of is Quentin (f-in) Tarantino, and I’ve been looking forward to Grindhouse for a damn long time. I started looking forward to it even more when I saw the pictures of Rose McGowen with a gun leg.
Wow.
Thats something worth writing home to, right there.
Problem is, Grindhouse is like two eternities long, and therein runs into the AT short attention span thing, particularly when I’m in town visiting my peoples for the night. So, thats my dilemma.

A dilemma.
However, Sunday morning some glutton for punishment has actually lined me up to be the spiritual advisor for their child. Thats right, AT is gonna be a Godfather, woot!
I’m already feeling bad for THOSE poor kids…

Hope you get this particular job. Don’t know any real godfathers. Here is what I would like to see though if you get the job, put a dead horse’s head in the bed of some folks that shall remain nameless.
Now they will probably think I’m serious about this too. What a bunch of clowns.
Enjoy your weekend and don’t think the horse’s head was such a good idea. The other end would be more fitting.

Okay, so how is it you and Nodbob seem to have sooo much time for each other, but when I bless either of you with a phone call you’re either too busy fixing your hair while pooping (*cough* Nodbob *cough*) or uh…dealing with kids or something. What’s up with that?

You might wait on Grindhouse because I read somewhere on the internet that they are going to re-release it as 2 films.

See, I like the idea of Grindhouse as one movie, I mean, thats the point, right?
But we saw ATHF last night. I commented to a friend that I think my IQ dropped a little.
