Rainy wet head haiku

April 15th, 2007 by Atomictumor

Been a busy day
Baptisms, weiner-mobiles
Pizza and 3D.

All grey and rainy
Home now with comfy clothes on
Warm stretchy cotton

Strange time at Bos church
I grew up as a Catholic
So I know the words

I’d feel out of place
If Eaves hadn’t been there too
Feel part of something

I try to find God
I try so freakin hard, man
Never where I look

3D images
Out of chaos, look, a boat
Just squint your eyes right

But in family
I don’t think I have to squint
To see something cool

Pizza with the clan
Saw the weinermobile there
Pigpen and G flipped

We were heading home
Then we turned the car around
And saw a movie

Meet the Robinsons
We saw it few weeks ago
But not in 3D

Kept the cool glasses
Pigpen’s passed out in my bed
And I love my world

  1. The Bosphorus Says:

    The tip of my tongue.
It’s like a word in my head–
    What I know of God.

  2. Timothy Gawne Says:

I look at my hands and know that they could not have made me. They shake, they loose things, they get hurt, and they struggle to fix a car. Sometimes the finding is not in the pursuit but in the struggle. And the struggle is not in the words but in the silence.
