One time I had to have the cap replaced after one a few years later because I grew, and during the prep the dentist assistant was telling me how nice my teeth looked and how well I was doing. When they started to do something that hurt, and I was making noise, she told me "This is why you should try harder to take care of your teeth". Haters. Those aren’t fun. When he was done he gave me some great painkillers and sent me off to finish the week long guard duty they had pulled me in from to take the tooth. I never even noticed the rest of the duty...
