Just us this weekend
And I think Pigpen’s thriving
Except fear at night

He slept fine last night
Dreamed “mummies and broken heads”
Said it was scary

I, for the record
Am feeling mighty fine now
12 hours of sleep

We’ve had quite a day
Chock full of 5 yr old fun
Its hard to keep up

First, we had breakfast
Biscuits and hashbrowns, Hardees
Could have been better

Now I will digress
Hardees, what the HELL happened?
Used to love Hardees

Yummy ass’d biscuits
Decide between fried chicken
And so-so burgers

Then they dropped chicken
To make “only one thing well”
Tasty good burgers

But now burritos?
Seriously, burritos?
At freakin Hardees?

So after breakfast
We headed out to the zoo
And had a great time

Its neat being two
I’ve never had this much time
Just with my Pigpen

He’s different than G
And because of that, sometimes,
I just don’t know him

Which makes days like this
So incredibly special
Goofy mama’s boy

Now, a rest movie
And then maybe to the pool
We’ll have a good time
