So we all set out for Centerroo, where all the stuff is, but alas, I was cast aside at the gate because I forgot to relieve myself of my trusty Gerbers.
I walked back to put them up, and saw a tent twister. It was the damnedest thing, a mini little dust devil that whipped through a line of tents and crossed the road about 20 paces in front of me. It was amazing.
We’re cooking some hotdogs just now, haven’t eaten since breakfast. Been drinking water, but little beer. This place is enough of an experience without being tipsy, and I can think of fewer hells worse than a hangover in this sweltering ass heat.
I got a text message, Jens having her baby tomorrow! Pigpen and MastaG are with the fam at the farm, so they’ll have a more interesting weekend than I will!

Woot, and double woot! to Jens and the newbaby.

Correction - We’re going to the hospital Saturday morning, not tomorrow. The heat’s already getting to AT. The idea of making an appointment to have a baby kind of bugs me, but the convenience and risk-factor make it worthwhile. Plus I’m thrilled at the idea of finally unloading this 35 lbs of baby and belly. I’ll be able to sleep on my back this weekend!!!
Keep us posted, AT. I want to see pics, too! I especially want to hear about how Nodbob will keep his hair spiked without his necessary equipment.

Jen, Nodbob has all the equipment he can handle.

That spiked mohawk needs “equipment”? Damn, don’t know if carrying “equipment” around is worth it. Down there it may be the norm though.

So will Jen name the baby after the festival? Bonnie if it’s a girl, Roo or Bono if it’s a boy?

Mighty big congrats Jen. Break a leg.
