Fathers Day Haiku

Hard being away
Miss the boys on fathers day.
Being dad defines.

I love being dad.
Theres no other life I’d have,
than to have my boys.

It fulfills, completes,
challenges and insulates.
It eases burden.

I love you my boys,
Pigpen and MastaG
can’t wait to see you

Nodbob and I did
our sonly duty for Bisc
Gifts at Wallyworld

Planted in his car
Tacky gold steering wheel sleeve.
A “busty” car mag

Twinkies baseball cap,
Seems like there was something else
Tribute for a king

Cuz I love the Bisc,
And the other dads around
Who show me the way.

    Happy Father’s Day!
    Hubby on deployment
    Miss him already
    Just dropped him off

    If it weren’t for kids
    there wouldn’t be Father’s
    or ulcers

    Love and Peace
    Out.

  2. Suzanne Says:

    It was two years past
I said goodbye to my dad
    Father’s day weekend

    Wish I’d known that day
In one short week’s time he would
    be far, far away

  3. The Bosphorus Says:

    Big kids left today
for a week at Granny PopPops.
    The house is quiet.
