Loving the travelogue.

I went in 2005 and 2006 and it was the most liberating experience I had after my divorce. It helped me let go and move on. I did things at Bonnaroo I hadn't done in years (like dance ALL NIGHT -- I can't remember the last time I had danced all night), and I met some of the most fascinating people. It was also exhausting, overwhelming, and occasionally really annoying, but both years count among the most meaningful experiences of my adult life.

Can't wait to read more.

It was also the first time I had left my children for that long to do something just for me. Yes, I was covering it for work, but it was also just a purely joyful experienc all about ME having fun. Like summer camp for grown ups. And it had been years and years and years (I was married 12 years and became a mother at age 23) since I had done anything like that.

Still loving the story, haven't been to a music festival in over a year and you're making me nostalgic. Looking up some upcoming hippie-fests right now.

Pleading the fifth on how many I can name.

Catherine, you don't count, cuz you were there too!
VA, I have to admit, this has taught me that, while the drugs remain the same, the names have totally changed, and apparently the last codebook I received is outdated.

Oh my oh my. I earned five points. Whatever will I spend them on....I know Opie and Nugs and and Shrooms. The scary things are a)I am old and shouldn't know and b)I am probably the only one in the family who didn't do drugs.....alcohol was and still is my poison. Molly is a kind of fish I have in my fish tank, so I can't imagine how he was selling those on a hot day.

so what does this mean
Nodbob, however, is a Tool fan, and his ass ended up hugging the rail at the very front. That would have been a mighty feat, even for a 6′3″ tall dude with a 11″ mohawk, but he managed it. I was impressed
i was just wondering i had my ass planted on the rail from 8am -9pm waiting for front roll at the tool show in bonnaroo and im 6'1"and have a mowhawk and you said your were impressed so i thought you were talking about me. how vain
