The poster that said the end of the world is near is only correct when he refers to those of us who are directly impacted by the loss of Eesa (as we knew her and loved her). Although I have never before been a proponent of the death penalty, my view changed today. Amazing how your perspective will change when you have to deal with the loss of someone so kind and good at the hands of persons so awful and depraved. The teenager at the middle of this story was abandoned by a crackhead mother when a very small child and her step-mother who was there to pick up all the pieces and take the abuse that the abandonment caused her to vent was the one she killed... only in bad novels do you have an ending like that.
