Deer hunting will never be the same again

Just imagine sitting in your deer stand with this ray gun.

The Army is looking at its Plasma Acoustic Shield System as a checkpoint defender, for now. But the original idea — and the long-term goal of the project — is to have it be the first baby step towards a portable, lethal laser weapon.

All that good old boy needs is a high powered scope. Wal*Mart has them.

    My brother’s “over there” now. I’ll have to send him this. (oh wait! he’s “not reachable” plus I’m sure this would be not allowed)

    I hope that’s not too heavy they’ve got enough stuff to tote around as it is.

    Have you seen how they “market” the Army to potential recruits? They’ve got a “shoot ‘em up” type video game that you can get FREE!!

    I’m sure it’s looks like a Nintendo gun for a reason.
