So, how do you tell if you’ve got a bad beer?
I’ve heard of beers gone bad, but have never experienced one myself. The Missus brought home a six pack of Shiner Hefeweizen after her Thursday night out that just tastes really… funky.
It’s been a while since I had a Hefeweizen and I don’t remember them tasting this bad.
urp….

Return them to where ever they were purchased…. and get Shiner Bock, instead.

Just tried a new organic beer made in NH or something. Trying to remember the name, but dang if I didn’t try one too many of the sample pack!
Not bad, but not super great. I”m a big hefewiezen (or however you spell that) fan. My first one was with a venison steak and the two flavors were so damn perfect together. It was fabulous!

See, I like the hefe. too, and I’ve had the Shiner more times than I can count. It’s always done me right. This time was a bust.

I thought all beer is organic. There’s such a thing as inorganic beer? Who knew?

i think when it says organic it means that there are no additives and that the ingredients are all grown organically

I think that was nerd humor, kris… Beer isn’t made of minerals, so it’s all ‘organic’ in a chemical sense…
