Canada Vs. Russia - Arctic Fight!

August 9th, 2007 by Atomictumor

Right, so, Russia dropped a flag last week on an arctic shelf in order to once and for all cement their claim to the whole North Pole thing, much the same that that the US put a flag on a soundstage shaped like the moon in order to claim, uh, that soundstage.

Today, turns out that Canada is sending their Prime Minister up to the arctic to sightsee and apparently beat up Russians.

Maybe they’ll put him in a titanium tube and drop him down next to the Russian flag?

I just read a book about Ada Blackjack . It talks about her being the only survivor of an expedition financed by a businessman in the 1920’s who was trying to claim Wrangel Island for Great Britian. When Great Britian would not bite, he tried to get Canada involved in it. Apperantly though, Russia had already laid claim. Interesting book about survival , but it also talks about Russia , Canada, and the USA trying to lay claim to Bering Sea territory.

I say we suggest to the Cripts(sp) and the Bloods that the territory is up for grabs and point em in the right direction. Good ole American street thugs could kick the crap out of Russia or Canada. (No offense eh)

    Crips, short for cripple.

“The name Crips was first introduced in the Los Angeles Sentinel, newspaper in a description by crime victims of young men with canes, as if they were crippled (though there is some discussion that it may have initially been a simple spelling mistake). The name stuck.’

It’s Canada’s! Get your own polar icecap, we were here first! The inuit even said so. Give them Alaska and maybe they’ll cut you in.

“One study by the U.S. Geological Survey estimates the Arctic has as much as 25 percent of the world’s undiscovered oil and gas.”

If it’s undiscovered, how do they know how much is there?
