What have I been up to lately? Well, lets break it down…

Traumatic Bursitis

I fell, under certain circumstances we don’t need to dwell upon, on the dock at the Oak Ridge Marina as Punk HP was loading up the boat after an entertaining time on “Mystery Island”. I did manage to avoid splitting my skull on the rather slippery concrete (who knew submerged concrete was covered with slime? C’mon, admit it, you didn’t know that…) at the cost of my left bird finger and my elbow. It was sore for a week or so, but about 9 days later it got kinda red and swollen and a little tenderer. I hit up the Doc, and he laid down the diagnostic of the Bursitis with a side of infection. I got me a bottle of Keflex that I’m chugging at regular intervals, and the elbow’s much better now, thanks.

Kids in school

So MastaG started school Monday, blissfully ending my summertime hobby of bothering friends (and friends children) to see who can babysit the next day. Problem is, G gets dropped off at the middle school at 7:15 AM, but Pigpen school doors are locked until 7:45. I get to the school at 7:25, so we’ve got 20 minutes sitting in the car. While we do get to play I-spy, I feel it kinda breaks the flow of my day in a way that I’m not crazy into right now.

He does like to climb into the front seat with me while we’re waiting. Maybe its a nice exercise in patience for me…

Stupid phone holster

My stupid phone holster broke. Its a piece of junk, and now I got full pockets. Not cool. Not cool at all.

“Hey AT, is that a big ass phone in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?”
