Blueberry farm haiku

October 14th, 2007 by Atomictumor

Had good times last night
Celebrating a birthday
Out at Cemestos

Family is great
Even if blood’s not involved
Tight bonds of friendship

Her presence was felt
Celebrating alongside
Where she’s always been

Think of yesteryear
When Bos spoke of bonds and love
And I saw Beauty

Bos is pretty cool
And he’s a hella speaker
Glad he did the job

Watched the video
Archaic, magnetic tape
Artifacts from then

Strange how things happen
Wedding renewal last year
A whole different age

I’m back at the farm
Baptize Bonnaroo Baby
Didn’t plan to come

But its just a day
And the place is beautiful
And good company

BJ smiles down
At her happy baby boys
And her sweet husband

Who’s smiling too
Its neat how the heart has room
To have love, again

It amazes me
How my love for her’s unchanged
While the new love grows

It should be harder
Like back in February
But I won’t complain.

    Last year brought so much,
    So many things went awry.
    Everything was changed.

    In another world
    Nodbob and I are alone,
    You are broken down.

    But look at it now
    New girlfriend, happy marriage
    And a newfound love…

    All in one small year.
    Kinda makes me excited
    For what life can bring

    And here at the farm,
    We will always remember
    October fourteenth.

    And we will enjoy
    relilving the memories
    of a renewal.

    Not being aware
    it was also a farewell.
    We had a great joy.

    We now celebrate
All the changes life can bring
    We have renewal.

  3. Netmom Says:

    As love is given
    the heart grows without bound’ries
    making room for more.

  4. Jane Says:

    everyone smiles now
    as love overcomes all pain
    joy to you my friend

  5. Mrs Eaves Says:

    I have a new fish
and decided to name him Maple
    What a great present

    Maple, like Syrup
Maple, the tree up the road
    BJ’s fall favorite

    Well, at least I think
    that tree is a Maple…but
    heck, I might be wrong

  6. The Bosphorus Says:

    Sifting through a few
    old family photographs,
    we looked so young then.

    We were younger then,
but I don’t feel older now–
    still turning corners.

    That October day
we dressed up like Autumn trees-
    beautiful colors.

    Bonds and love carry
    us into our commitments
    to all our loved ones.

    We cannot know where
    our commitments will lead us–
    Leaves in a windfall.
