Last year brought so much,
So many things went awry.
Everything was changed.

In another world
Nodbob and I are alone,
You are broken down.

But look at it now
New girlfriend, happy marriage
And a newfound love…

All in one small year.
Kinda makes me excited
For what life can bring

And here at the farm,
We will always remember
October fourteenth.

And we will enjoy
relilving the memories
of a renewal.

Not being aware
it was also a farewell.
We had a great joy.

We now celebrate
All the changes life can bring
We have renewal.

I have a new fish

Sifting through a few
old family photographs,
we looked so young then.

We were younger then,
but I don’t feel older now–
still turning corners.

That October day
we dressed up like Autumn trees-
beautiful colors.

Bonds and love carry
us into our commitments
to all our loved ones.

We cannot know where
our commitments will lead us–
Leaves in a windfall.
