This sounds redundant, but congrats and know that even total strangers are thrilled to see your very happy beginning. I know your road, and I know all the conflicting thoughts, very illogical guilt, and mixed feelings that come with your happiness… I still feel them too, sometimes. I read your Open Letter to Tori and cried a little. If I wrote that it would have to be to Stevie Ray Vaughn, because he was EBs fave. SRV and his 500+ songs are still in my Itunes and now I can finally listen and remember something other than his memorial service. In the beginning, not so much, all I could see was his hawaiian shirt with an urn sitting on it, and some good cigars and an ice cold Corona, the essence of EB. Now the soundtrack has just become a flashback to another part of my life, like the BeeGees are a not so good reminder of 8th grade, and the B-52s bring back mental pictures of Graduation. Life divides for us widow/widowers, and you now know that she is the love of this life. Treasure this chance, and remember that for all the pain we of the tribe of loss are lucky in a strange way. Not everyone gets to have true love come into their lives twice. Hell, some people don’t even get it once! Blessings on you all! Mazel tov!

She’s been demoted. The ring needs to be resized, and there was a little rattle-rattle-rattle in the big rock, so I had to take it back to the shop to be worked on.
Until then, she’s just back to ladyfriend status.
