The best thing I read today

November 6th, 2007 by Atomictumor

Halo 3, gaming elite, and suicide bombing.

I, however, have a completely different psychology. I know I’m the underdog; I know I’m probably going to get killed anyway. I am never going to advance up the Halo 3 rankings, because in the political economy of Halo, I’m poor.

Specifically, I’m poor in time

…I might as well take people down with me.

I haven’t played the ol’ xbox much in the past few weeks, being all busy with other stuff, and I’ve never tried doing it online because I know that the little teenage/college bastards who have nothing better to do but play all day while they get fed through IV tubes are going to make it a miserable experience, but this has me thinking…

    Oh my granny’s panties… you crossed the picket lines to blog about XBox!!!! When we your loyal readers are awaiting details of the wedding plans with baited breath?! There’s lots of questions we want answered like is it going to be at ‘Roo or at the farm? Is the time out doing the catering? Inquiring minds Man… give that woman a blog of her own “Bubbles from the Tank” is the perfect title! Not that we’re stalking or anything, right?

    LOL!!! I don’t know if this Missyb knows us, but she really hit the nail on the head! If she isn’t a relative then she needs to be.

    I only know ya’ll from the intarnetz but I’ve emailed with AT a few times about the loss of GAC. I lost my husband in 04 and remarried this year so I understand the world he’s living in. Hopefully I’ll meet all of you one day, next party at the Time Out maybe. I just had to point out that I was sure he did not break the strike and then blog about frickin’ xbox… oh no he didn’t.

    ;->

    You said it better than I could have!

    Just glad he broke the strike. Us Tumor addicts need the fix.

    I thought it was more of an interesting correlation, on a small, simple scale, between the mentality of suicide bombers and the mentality of online gamers.
    Then again, I read the link.
    When the lady gets her own blog, I’ll let you know, and then you guys can all go over there….

    Just teasing you AT… we care about you too… but we really love love stories… it’s a girly thing! Xbox I get here, living with Dan Marino Jr. and his Punt, Pass, Kick fantasy machine… love stories not so much!

    Beer burns the nose. More beer helps the pain.

    Even though you are wasting my precious time with Xbox babble instead providing us with important romantic gushy wedding stuff, here is a present for you!!
