That's how we got the Panama Canal built. That’s how we got the Panama Canal built. Started (oops - “supported”) a revolution in Panama (which used to be a part of Colombia) with the understanding that once Panama was free the US would be free to build the canal and own it for a good long time too!!

Probably accurate though, but we're certainly not unique in our quests. My DH is a big "skiffy" fan also and listens to someone that sounds similar - http://scottsigler.com/.
