Two week haiku

March 9th, 2008 by Atomictumor

Everyone dressed up
In their twenties attire
And Eaves took pictures

No falls in the creek
And only one grass/dirt stain
It was successful

My, don’t we look sharp
Two zoot suits, one paperboy
And a gorgeous bride

The sun was happy
And beamed down on us coolly
Doesn’t look that cold

We’ve almost finished
We keep ourselves so busy
To speed up the time

Its a party, sure
And just a piece of paper,
But so exciting

    Pieces of paper
of this kind deserve to be
    celebrated.

  2. Joel Says:

    By formalizing
    What’s already in our hearts,
    We just celebrate.

    The hard work’s ahead,
    When the novelty wears off.
    What sustains us then?

    Provisional world
    Offers slim support to hope.
    Yet we persevere.

    Mazel tov, y’all!

I just discovered these blogs here & clicked on ones that sounded interesting, which yours did (& is). (For a Knoxgal, I have an unusual number of atomic pals; so your moniker was what pulled me in.) Enjoying your Haiku. LOVED the wedding invite (My hubby & I did ours, too. Much mo’ fun.) Oh & Congrats!
