One of the houses we’ve been considering was just reduced by $10,000. Eek!
My boring Friday morning is suddenly a little more exciting…

Wow, that is quite a reduction. Sounds like some higher power is sending you a message? Or the housing market is in a slump.

Heck yes! So happy for you!!

reduced 10k — huh…. sounds like you are in a stronger negotiation position! They want to sell and it ain’t selling. The magic 8-ball says bid low. =)

Sweet! That’s an easy 10,000 saved…

We’ve started serious house hunting too, Eaves. Our first choice just slipped away from us this past week… You can’t get the first one you like anyways, right?

That’s great news Eaves! Good luck.

Since we haven’t sold ours yet, we’re waiting to hear if the sellers would accept a contingency offer. Keeping fingers crossed.

I hate the house business. I fell in love with a house and we lost it. It is why we are not ridgers today and living down the street from you. I think you are in a good spot of a contingency offer. They want to sell — they have reduced their price. Positive thoughts your way!

Wheee!!!!

Wahhhhh. At this point, the sellers won’t accept a contingency offer. Wahhhhh. That doubly stings, as interest rates dipped to 5.875 today (they had been hovering around 6.375). Wahhhh.
Okay, I’ll quite whining now.

Do you need some cheese? You have every right to whine. With the market the way it is, maybe they will change their minds if another deal doesn’t come along??? **hoping**
