The Robot Ate Me - Nashville - Woot

April 11th, 2006 by Atomictumor

The Robot Ate Me is coming to Nashville.  Now, the question is, who can find out how to get tickets on the intarweb?  Hmm…

Theres two shows that day, one at music store Grimey’s, and the other at 310 Chestnut Street.  Now, I’ve learned that 310 used to be a record pressing shop.  I have not learned how to purchase tickets.

Related, however, I emailed the man behind the eating robots, Ryland, about maybe coming to Knoxville or something.  He was kind enough to reply and tell me that he tried to book a show at the Pilot Light, but it was full on the date he needed… C’est la vie.

So, the AT indie rock groupie roster now includes:

The Robot Ate Me
The Walkmen
Evan Dorkin (another email many years ago)

How the hell did this become about Milk and Cheese?

Because they freakin’ rule, that’s why.
And it’s totally awesome that he wrote you back at all, much less just a couple hours after you wrote him. I need to add him to my friends on myspace. *giggle*

Also, almost worth a post of its own, Eagles Of Death Metal’s new record came out today. Woot!
