Word of A. Tom Ictuma's campaign for office is starting to be heard all over the place! The elusive spokeman for a new government had this to say from his compound in Oak Ridge:

"Folks, in politics today you're used to having to choose between two solutions. Left and right, good and bad, the duality in American politics today insults your intelligence and ensures that those in power now stay in power. Why is it that we can't elect a real person to office, somebody with no familial or organizational ties to power? Somebody who'll act from the heart, entirely with the people in his neighborhood in mind, instead of the corporate interests that drive politics today?"

Well, now we've got him. A. Tom Ictuma is set to tear the roof off the capital, put his hand in, and spread the goods around to all the citizens of Tennesee and Oak Ridge. We're truly taking government back from the business interests and pretty boys, and setting it free.

We need your support. If you're tired of seeing politicians protecting their own interests, write in a vote for A. Tom Ictuma. If Washington and Nashville aren't looking after you, its time you stopped looking after them.

A. Tom Ictuma announced a bid for office on the night of primary elections in his home town of Oak Ridge, TN. He recorded it in his operations center, deep underground in Oak Ridge, in front of a throng of cheering and enthusistic local supporters. Support thus far has been through the roof in his base constituency, the Oak Ridge Internet/Blogger groups, and has been filtering through to all walks of life in Oak Ridge and Anderson County, depite the fact that we have yet to begin placing yard signs, or a major campaign internet presence!
Mr. Ictuma had this to say:

Hell yes. Thanks for your support Oak Ridge bloggers! We've already got the town buzzing every time we make a post, and now we have the support of the town in bringing our opinions and attitudes to a position of political power. Thats freakin' awesome"
