Abraham Thomas Ictuma was born in 1972 to parents Jorgen and Anna Ictuma, third generation Norwegians, and farmhand/nuclear engineers employeed in the many labs of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Abraham, who prefered to go by the name A. Tom, placed first in his class at Oak Ridge High School, graduating in 1987. He worked as an inner city counselor for troubled youths for the next several years, and became a champion of people with heads shaped like brains.

He traveled around the country for several years in the 1990s, following rock concerts and sleeping on friends couches. He was responsible for the brief popularization of "tweedle-picks" in 1994, and saw some income from this.

He reemerged in 2005 to serve as the figurehead for an Oak Ridge-centric blog website called www.atomictumor.com, where he works to this day.

He tells us that in his day, he has boxed Muhammad Ali, swilled scotch with Hunter S. Thompson, and punched Bob Dole in the kidneys. He has heckled Pat Robertson, mooned Bill Clinton, and hidden Bill Gate's glasses.

He has not considered previously a political career, as he has always maintained "Only criminals are interested in politics". When he realized that he is considered a criminal for downloading a song from Napster on November 12, 2000, he reconsidered his stance on politics, and seeing the deplorable conditions of the past several high profile elections, has decided that the choice between two evils "is a choice nobody should have to make".

A. Tom has strong working class ties, due to his Norwegian heritage. He is not aligned with any political parties, feeling that they both are "corrupt and deplorable organizations designed for no other reason but to retain power, and ensure that anybody serving in office would be serving them first, instead of the American people first".

He has been married for many years to his first wife, and they have two children, 9 and 4
